Painting & Decorating laid the foundations of our business in 1988 and remains a large part of our business today.
We directly employ over 1500 decorators, over 200 decorating apprentices, have 14 Decorating Academies across the country, and are the largest contractor buyer of trade paint from all 3 of the UK’s largest paint manufacturers.
We are the only one of our kind.
Our 37 branches span the length and breadth of Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, providing true national coverage via local directly employed management and operational teams. Our teams take pride in providing a personalised, local service for every client with the reassurance and efficiencies of our established national organisation.
On an annual basis we carry out internal and external painting & decorating works for 800 clients across UK in sectors including Social Housing, MoD, Education, Healthcare, Retail and Leisure, Local Authority, Commercial and Private, including:

- 31 of the UK’s 50 largest Social Landlords
- Major Universities
- 28 NHS Trusts
Last year we completed over 2000 separate painting contracts nationally.
As an ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accredited business, with many SSIP and other associations, we implement robust and effective policies and processes in Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management.
We have been proud Royal Warrant Holders since ??? and continue to provide painting and decorating, and refurbishment works to the royal family in their properties across the country.
We are committed to providing the highest levels of quality and workmanship and are proud partners of both industry suppliers and accreditors, including Akzo Nobel Trade, Dulux Trade, the PDA (Painting & Decorating Association) and SDF (Scottish Decorators Federation).
