We hold high expectations from all Bell suppliers, business partners and employees to comply with all laws and regulations and we are committed to working with everyone in our value chain, including our clients, to elevate their ability to bring positive change in their own operations and business relationships.

In Q4 of 22/23 we purchased 92 new vehicles, including 21 EV, to replace older fleet. Of current 786 total fleet, 143 are EV or Hybrid.

As a business we have made the decision in 2023 Q1 to no longer purchase diesel cars.

We are currently achieving a landfill diversion rate of > 95% across our branch network and all sites.

2022 Investment in IT has allowed carbon data on hired plant for the first time, as well as waste disposal journeys.

Launch of our Electrification to attain more efficient and sustainable fleet. Target to replace 30% of our fleet with EV by 2025.

Employee commuting initiatives to be launched 2023 include supported public transport, Brompton scheme and EV salary sacrifice scheme.

2022 we entered a new era of carbon data analysis through IT development on our fleet Ctrack and Key2 softwares, in addition to new dashboards.

Local employment – IT developed for tracked labour planning, home>site routes, shared transport and cycle to work scheme.

Paperless – 2023 investment in our O365 Dynamics to move from our hybrid to a fully cloud-based, electronic system

2023 will see EV chargers and software being installed at 37 Bell branches across the UK, in addition to employee homes

We have set our target to 100% diversion of waste from landfill by 2025 and a 10% reduction in total waste produced beyond a 2022 baseline figure

In 2022, 48% of our suppliers were SMEs. 38% of our total spend was with SMEs, exceeding our target of 33%

Partnering with Monta and EV companies on projects in EV Hubs, green energy, creating jobs, training, apprenticeships in Electrical Installs.

We are currently working with landlords on PPAs so we can install solar and wind-powered sources throughout our branch network.

We have rolled out driver awareness and ESG training to 100% of employees in 2022.
