Bell Group East Midlands step up to the mark!

Value: £9,000
Client: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

The Project

Bell Group have previously worked at Nottingham’s largest Hospital the Queens Medical Centre when Carillion held the contract. All works are now contracted out directly by the hospital Estate Manager.  Based on our experience we were asked to produce quotations for external painting to the spiral staircase which access the upper levels of the hospital. The works were carried out in a live environment so the health and safety of the general public and our operatives was our main priority.

Their was major corrosion to the hand rails and the upper ceiling areas needed intensive stripping of all previous flaking paint, then treated with a sealant prior to application of product. As well as the painting of hand rails, walls and ceilings, we were asked to paint the line markings on the nose of the steps, you can see from photographs a complete transformation of the area, with protection for years to come.
